DEAR FRIENDS
Relief Riders International No Comments »Thank you for your interest in Relief Riders International.
After three years of Relief Rides to Rajasthan, India, we have decided to focus our efforts on creating a non-profit infrastructure, as well as develop a variety of new meaningful trips. Both of these actions will enable us to grow and develop existing and new programs, champion new regions and medical support networks, as well as open our trips up to an ever increasing number of people who would like to join us but are simply not able to ride horses.
In an effort to honor the work we have already done while forging ahead in our new direction we have created a new company called Relief Workers International. We have designed an exciting new trip that builds on our history of combining exciting travel with an important humanitarian mission.

The History of Relief Riders International
In 2004, we launched our inaugural Relief Ride, blending an adventure travel experience with a humanitarian mission.

Over the last three years, we held seven successful rides and treated over 14,000 villagers, including 6,300 children. With our “Give the Gift of Sight” campaign we provided treatment to rural villagers with cataracts. Since the program began we have treated 294 patients. With our “Give a Goat” program we distributed 320 goats to below poverty-level families.

As we take the next few months to organize our non-profit organization, we want to emphasize how grateful we are for our support staff in India, our Alumni riders, the media, and the support we have received from the general public.
If you would like to be informed of any future activities please e-mail us at info@reliefworkersinternational.com.
We look forward to updating you with our progress in a future newsletter
Sincerely,
Alexander Souri
